Get to know our range of services and therapies better. If you have any questions, we will be happy to help.
We work in the areas of REHA, orthopedics, surgery, rheumatology, neurology, geriatrics, lymphology, scar therapy, pain therapy, internal medicine, children and adolescents.
We are convinced that every person perceives symptoms differently and reacts to treatments differently. That is why every patient needs an individual form of therapy. After a detailed assessment, we determine the therapy goals and measures for a successful therapy plan together with you and your treating doctor.
Manual therapy, a form of therapy within the entire range of possible physiotherapeutic applications, involves working with the hands. Based on a comprehensive manual examination and an accompanying conversation, a hypothesis is drawn up about the cause of the disorder and the structure affected is localized (joint, muscle, nerve). This forms the basis for treatment. Physiotherapeutic measures are supplemented with passive joint mobilization and manipulation (on the extremities and spine).
Trigger points are hardening of the muscles caused by incorrect strain, poor posture, and tension. Your therapist will often find trigger points in the trapezius muscle in the neck area. This then causes headaches or pain behind the eyes. If you feel pain similar to sciatica, a trigger point in the gluteal muscle is often responsible. Your therapist is trained to feel trigger points. You react very sensitively to corresponding pressure points because the pressure is painful. With targeted treatment, the pain can be eliminated very efficiently.
Manual lymphatic drainage is primarily used as an edema and decongestion therapy. It is used when the function of the lymphatic vessels is no longer guaranteed. Using various grip techniques, your therapist activates the lymphatic system by improving the pumping capacity of the lymphatic vessels, or more precisely the lymphangion. Your therapist stimulates the tissue with the grips and their alternating pressure (pressure phase with transverse and longitudinal stretching of the skin or zero phase - only skin contact is maintained). The lymph flow is stimulated again by this stimulus.
Classic massage is used to mechanically influence muscles, skin and connective tissue. Your therapist treats your body with stretching, pulling and pressure. Physiotherapists often do not perform classic massage because it is not necessarily part of their treatment spectrum. However, we believe that massage is the best preparation for subsequent physiotherapy. The tissue becomes supple, the muscles soft and flexible. This enables us to treat you more efficiently and better.
Everyone has a scar somewhere. Few people really give it any importance. But behind every scar there is an injury. Once the injury has healed, adhesions between different layers of tissue remain. This replacement tissue is often responsible for chronic, acute or inexplicable pain. If scars are properly loosened, muscular tension is released and the pain disappears. Scar tissue can be loosened regardless of the age, size, depth and type of scar. Your therapist will tailor the technique in systemic scar therapy to your individual connective tissue. After just a few minutes, you can check whether the chosen method is achieving the desired result. You and your therapist can immediately feel and measure the result.
During neurological treatment, your therapist will deal with diseases of the nervous system and muscles. The nervous system includes the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. The overarching goal of treatment is always to restore your ability to act and participate in community life as much as possible.
Application for: dysfunction of joints, limited mobility (blockage) of the spine, joints, fascia and muscles
Proper breathing is crucial for our health. For example, if you breathe too quickly, you put a strain on your body. If you breathe too shallowly, the capacity of your lungs is not fully utilized. Some unused air remains in the alveoli. This can impair the oxygen supply to the body's tissues. As a result, muscles, organs and, not least, the brain do not perform at their full potential. The result: tiredness, lack of concentration and digestive problems.
In taping, the therapist sticks a special adhesive tape on or next to painful parts of the body. Injuries can be cured, muscles loosened, and inflammation inhibited. Kinesio tapes can also be used effectively as a preventative measure - for example before a marathon.
Electrotherapy uses electrical currents and electrical impulses to activate and strengthen the body's natural healing processes. Depending on the area of application, low, medium or high frequency currents are used. This is done either directly, by working with the flow of electricity, or indirectly: the energy is then transferred to the body using heat or mechanical energy. All applications are pleasant and free of side effects.
Ultrasound is well known from diagnostics. But the sound waves with 1 million vibrations per second also have a therapeutic effect.
Laser therapy is a gentle healing method for pain, wounds and skin diseases. It has an anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and swelling-reducing effect. It stimulates the energy balance in a natural way and without any chemicals and can noticeably accelerate the healing process.
Walking safely in old age cannot be taken for granted. Falls are one of the most common causes of accidents for older people and often lead to the need for care.
